Buddha Ceremony will be moved up by one week to May 9, together with

We are open to the public during the hours
when events are scheduled (usually Sundays, 8 AM to 2 PM). We
urge you to check our
calendar of events before planning a
visit.
Once a year (usually
in June), when the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas holds its
ceremonies commemorating the anniversary of our Venerable Master
Hsuan Hua's Entering Nirvana, we
do not host local events but instead arrange for our laity to travel to CTTB
for the entire weekend.
Modest and comfortable
clothing will be more conducive to the activities in which you may wish to
participate, such as seated meditation, circumambulatory (walking) recitation and bowing.
You may wish to wear socks or stockings as visitors are asked to remove
their shoes at the front entrance.

We do not have a parking lot,
and you will have to find street parking. We are sorry about the
inconvenience.
Please note: On May 16
and October 17, 2010, due to community activities taking place onOcean Boulevard, and Ocean Boulevard will
not be accessible.
